The Wednesday Night Rides are NO DROP social rides for newer riders and experienced members wanting to squeeze in a midweek ride and work on their speed and/or climbing.
Riders under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to take part in all club rides.
The routes vary from week to week and are announced normally on Wednesday on our facebook page. They are usually of about 20-25 miles with some climbing challenges along the way.
The rides will leave at 7 pm sharp from the Devon County Hall carpark, Topsham Rd, Exeter EX2 4QD. Don’t be late, unless you’d like a sprint start to catch the group.
Please make sure you have a set of lights that you can see adequately with in unlit country lanes and with enough battery to last > 2hr in case of mechanical delays etc.
Mudguards are a must in the winter and also after heavy rain periods throughout the year as we will ride mainly in lanes which are prone to being mucky.
